This years Tour looks to be one of the most exciting of recent years with many of the top riders back in the picture with some of the most spectacular mountain stages, quite a contract from last years.
We have a package that incorporates 3 epic mountain stages in the Pyreness as well as some great riding in this mecca for cyclists and triathletes.
We will pick you up from Toulouse airport in the morning and transfer you to our centre in Luscan, the heart of the Pyrenees. After settling in, a spot of lunch and building your bike, we will head out for a short ride to test out the bikes and the legs after your flight.
We will head out after breakfast for a short warm up ride - The Tour de Luscan. This will loosen up the legs for tomorrows epic stage. In the afternoon the Etape riders will then be transferred to Pau for registration.

For the Etape riders, this is it. The is stage 17 of the Tour de France and there is no escape. 200 km of brutal mountains but the satisfaction of crossing that finish line is worth more than anything in the world.
It is an early start and we will get you to Pau in plenty of time for this massive start of over 8000 riders.

For those not riding the Etape then you have the choice of our ride brochures whihc feature many routes local to the centre. From 48 km to 160 km. It is your choice or even just take a relaxing day walking or sightseeing as there is plenty of riding to come.
We are situated a very short distance from the base of the Port de Balés. This is the final climb into the finish of Luchon. We will head out in the morning to the best climb in the Pyrenees (in my opinion) and set ourselves up to watch the climbers fight it out and the "grupetto" struggling behind. This will be the second time only in the history of the Tour that this Hors Category climb has been used - I am sure it won't be the last.
There will be some very tired legs amongst the group but that does not stops the professionals who will be battling yet again in the mountains. We will head out to the Col d'Aspin (1489m) shortly after breakfast. There will also be transport for those who wish to shorten the ride a little. We will watch the riders summit this fantastic climb whcih has views over many kilometres of the constant switch backs. We will then desend to the local villages and watch the finish into Pau.
A rest day for the pros and a gentle day for you. A relaxed breakfast followed by whatever you would like to do. There is plenty of small rides, maybe to St Bertrand de Comminges for a lazy lunch. It is up to you, enjoy because tomorrow is the Giant!
The final stage in the Pyrenees for the Tour and what a final stage this is. For the riders of the Etape, today may bring back nightmare. We will transfer everyone within a reasonable ride distance to the final climb of the day - The Tourmalet, also known as the Giant. This is going to be a manic day with thousands of specators nearing the summit. This will be the 100th time on the Tour that the Tourmalet has been ridden. you will be witnessing history in the making.
After an early breakfast we will take you all back to Toulouse for your flights. We will make the airport in plenty of time for the 10 am flights onwards.
